So, one of the weird things about the course is that outside of the Academy itself (feels weird referring to it as an academy, but it'll do for now) your mind slightly goes. The mix of tiredness from waking up early (oh, freelance life...) and being slightly wired from thinking all day leads to your mind running at a speed you can't always catch. And so when dealing with people who aren't coding, on issues that aren't coding, my mouth seems to start to run accordingly. Without actively concentrating on a problem, I'm pretty unable to keep a coherent strain of thought together. Which makes for... interesting conversation... I mean, I'm not entirely coherent at the best of times (I'm so sorry, philosophy supervisors), but it's genuinely gotten worse. Hopefully I'll get a handle on it before the end of the course, but for now it's at least entertaining me. And that's... something...
